Radiology Manager

About the role

Marina Group is seeking an experienced Radiology Manager to lead its imaging department across multiple facilities in Iraq. The role combines clinical oversight, operational excellence, and team discipline to ensure high‑quality diagnostic services for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce strict staff discipline, monitoring attendance, punctuality and compliance with hospital policies.
• Manage duty rosters, on‑call schedules and shift rotations for radiologists, residents and technologists to guarantee 24/7 coverage.
• Oversee daily departmental operations, optimise patient workflow and maintain quality standards for imaging and reporting.
• Act as the medical referent, reviewing complex cases and ensuring diagnostic accuracy.
• Develop, update and implement advanced imaging protocols while optimising radiation dose.
• Supervise equipment safety, calibration and maintenance in coordination with biomedical engineers.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBChB/MD) with board certification or equivalent fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in diagnostic radiology within a hospital setting.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex schedules.
• Familiarity with nuclear medicine or related advanced imaging techniques.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site and provide consistent departmental leadership.
