Project Control Manager

About the role

The Project Control Manager will independently oversee the execution of projects within NASS AL‑Iraq Holding Group, ensuring they are delivered on scope, schedule, budget and contractual terms. Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will provide performance monitoring, risk identification and strategic recommendations to support decision‑making and strengthen governance across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Review and endorse project execution plans, schedules, budgets and control baselines before launch.
• Monitor project performance against approved scope, schedule, cost and quality baselines and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct periodic project health checks and support recovery planning for delayed or troubled projects.
• Validate Project Management Plans, Work Breakdown Structures and project baselines.
• Assess contracts, monitor contractual KPIs, payment milestones and manage variation orders, claims and warranties.
• Ensure compliance with the PMO governance framework, methodology and corporate policies through regular governance reviews.
• Provide executive visibility of portfolio performance and support strategic decision‑making with independent analysis.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in project control or project management within a construction or infrastructure environment.
• Proven ability to analyze project data, identify deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of contractual obligations, risk management and governance processes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with project managers, executives and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Project Management Plans (PMP) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) knowledge.
• Experience with project performance monitoring and reporting.
• Familiarity with contract administration and KPI tracking.
