Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager leads daily operations of Brand Aid’s Erbil factory, one of four Group production sites in the MEENA region. Reporting to the Factory General Manager, the role ensures POSM, brand activation, signage, fit‑out, events and luxury retail fabrication are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all production departments – planning, fabrication, finishing, quality and dispatch – and ensure orders meet schedule, budget and safety requirements.
• Set and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production targets for each department and project.
• Track material waste, idle time, rework and overtime; implement root‑cause solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Identify and execute cost‑saving opportunities in materials, processes and supplier sourcing.
• Lead, coach and develop a workforce of 50‑100 staff, establishing clear KPIs, performance reviews and shift scheduling.
• Read and validate design files in CorelDraw, AutoCAD and presentation formats before production starts.
• Create detailed production plans, job schedules and material requisitions for every order.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports for the Factory General Manager and maintain accurate job tracking records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Business Administration or a related technical field (or equivalent diploma with strong experience).
• 5–10 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to manage large production teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of cost control, waste reduction and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with account managers and project teams.
