Product Manager

About the role

The Product Manager will lead the development and management of Hikma’s product portfolio, ensuring that sales teams have the information and training needed to succeed. Based in Baghdad, this role combines market analysis, product planning and cross‑functional coordination to drive growth in the pharmaceutical market.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an accessible product information system and organise training schedules for the sales team.
• Identify market segments, competitor shares and growth trends to uncover new opportunities.
• Monitor and report on product and sales performance, assess plan execution and recommend adjustments to the product mix.
• Coordinate product planning, logistics and development to support timely, cost‑effective marketing campaigns and promotional events.
• Prepare introductions, marketing plans and activity for potential new products, evaluating viability, risks and development progress.
• Conduct market research and analysis to shape Hikma’s business strategy.
• Perform comprehensive product evaluations based on financials, risk and technology to keep the portfolio up‑to‑date.
• Track industry trends and intelligence to maintain a robust product pipeline.
• Collaborate with Business Development to forecast and evaluate new products and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (MBA is a plus).
• 4–6 years of relevant experience, including 1–2 years in a marketing role or assignment.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for training and cross‑functional collaboration.
