Pipeline Inspection Technical Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Pipeline Inspection Technical Expert to lead the analysis and reporting of pipeline integrity data for projects in Iraq. The successful candidate will work closely with corrosion, cathodic protection and operations teams to ensure safe and reliable pipeline performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and report results from inline inspection (ILI), direct assessment and dig‑verification programs.
• Review corrosion growth, wall‑loss trends and conduct failure investigations.
• Prioritize anomalies, develop repair strategies and perform fitness‑for‑service evaluations in accordance with API 579.
• Coordinate with corrosion, cathodic protection and operations teams to mitigate internal and external threats.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or metallurgical engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in pipeline integrity management.
• Level II or Level III Data Analyst certification for HR‑MFL technology (ASNT‑ILI‑PQ).
• API 1169 and API 580 certifications are preferred.
