Partnerships and Reporting Officer (Level 8) – Baghdad

About the role

The Partnerships and Reporting Officer will support WFP’s External Relations Unit in Baghdad by producing high‑quality reports, briefs and communications that raise the visibility of WFP’s work in Iraq. The role also contributes to fundraising and donor engagement activities, helping to secure resources and technical assistance for humanitarian programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and edit reports, policy briefs, and communication materials for internal and external audiences.
• Support fundraising initiatives by drafting donor proposals, updates and impact stories.
• Liaise with public, private and development partners to promote WFP’s objectives and secure collaborations.
• Maintain a database of partnership agreements and monitor compliance with reporting requirements.
• Provide analytical inputs for strategic planning and resource mobilisation.

Required profile

• University degree in communications, international relations, development studies or a related field.
• Proven experience in partnership management, reporting or donor relations within the humanitarian sector.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
