Operations & Performance Admin Engineer (tMart)

About the role

talabat is looking for a versatile Operations & Performance Admin Engineer to join the tMart team. This hybrid position combines technical facilities management of dark‑store locations with data‑driven monitoring of operational performance to ensure seamless 30‑minute deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair critical store infrastructure, including industrial chillers, freezers, HVAC/AC systems, and electrical distribution networks.
• Prepare detailed Scope of Work (SOW) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) documents for equipment purchases and facility upgrades.
• Supervise third‑party contractors during installations, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs, enforcing quality and safety standards.
• Conduct technical inspections and act as the final authority for handover of new engineering projects and assets.
• Monitor real‑time order flow on the Shopper platform and alert store teams to any delays.
• Produce nightly sales update tables at scheduled times to keep teams informed of performance milestones.
• Analyze picker performance at the order level, calculate efficiency averages, and generate comprehensive reports.

Required profile

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple technical and administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Experience supervising contractors and handling facility‑related documentation.
• Comfortable working with operational data and producing regular performance reports.
