Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead security operations in Iraq. The role involves planning, coordinating and executing daily operational activities in a high‑risk, dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute daily operational tasks in close collaboration with the Security Department.
• Manage the Operations Room, ensuring effective monitoring and response.
• Lead crisis management and close‑protection activities in hostile or high‑risk settings.
• Coordinate complex operations and maintain structured security procedures.
• Utilise GPS and Google tools for operational planning and tracking.

Required profile

• EU nationality with the ability to obtain EU Confidential security clearance.
• Recent, hands‑on experience working in Iraq.
• Minimum rank of Senior Non‑Commissioned Officer (SNCO) or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in operations and crisis management.
• Prior close‑protection experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Operational familiarity with GPS systems.
• Experience using Google tools for planning and communication.
