Operations Manager – Iraq

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Iraq team. The successful candidate will design and execute operational strategies, ensuring that processes, systems, and resources align with both current and future business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and implement management strategies for operations, coordinating with the Head of Division.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate all operations management activities.
• Oversee shipping, clearance, warehouse handling, and delivery to maintain zero‑error material arrival.
• Develop and enforce operations policies, procedures, and performance measurement models.
• Review P&L, expenses, and cost effectiveness, correcting discrepancies as needed.
• Set and evaluate facility KPIs, ensuring standards are consistently met.
• Supervise installation, repair, and maintenance of facilities and equipment within budget.
• Manage purchasing transactions with vendors to guarantee timely, cost‑efficient supply availability.
• Collaborate on digitisation projects such as WMS, KPIs, and track‑and‑trace tools.
• Develop, document, and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in warehousing, distribution or contract logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Excellent command of Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
