Medical Science Liaison – Immunology/Oncology

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Immunology/Oncology will act as the scientific voice of the affiliate, providing expert medical advice on assigned products and therapeutic areas. The role involves building relationships with external experts, supporting brand strategy, and contributing to medical affairs activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scientific and medical information to healthcare professionals and external experts on assigned products.
• Develop and maintain credible relationships with key opinion leaders, academic centers, and external experts through advisory boards, round‑table meetings and scientific congress participation.
• Contribute to the creation and review of core medical dossiers, including pricing, reimbursement, HEOR, and medical information packs.
• Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to individual clinicians or groups.
• Support brand team initiatives by providing medical input into strategy and training materials.
• Screen scientific literature, summarize key messages, and disseminate insights within the organization.
• Design and oversee Phase IV or post‑marketing clinical research projects, such as registries, epidemiological surveys and real‑world evidence studies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional affiliate teams to ensure medical affairs integration with business strategy.

Required profile

• Strong background in medical or scientific disciplines related to immunology or oncology.
• Experience in medical affairs, scientific exchange, or clinical research within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to engage with external experts and present complex scientific data.
• Excellent self‑study habits and ability to stay current with therapeutic area literature.
