Materials Manager

About the role

The Materials Manager will be based in Iraq supporting the LOGCAP V contract. Reporting to the Senior Materials Manager or Task Order Manager, you will oversee all aspects of materiel management and accounting, ensuring compliance with DFARS and related regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager/Task Order Manager in managing Government Furnished Materiel (GFM) and implementing property policies.
• Order, track, receive, store, issue, and deliver materiel for LOGCAP V Iraq Task Order.
• Maintain accurate records of materiel received, transferred, allocated, held, and disposed, and generate regular inventory and status reports.
• Coordinate materiel transfers throughout the Area of Responsibility and conduct periodic warehouse audits.
• Provide day‑to‑day oversight of materiel control operations, including inventory reporting, proper storage, shipping documentation, and safety compliance.
• Ensure 100% accountability using the Maximo Implementation System and maintain knowledge of the Army Supply System (DLIS FedLog).

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of Government regulations such as FAR, DFARS, AR710‑2, D.A. PAM 710‑2‑1, and the Vectrus LOGCAP Property Management Plan.
• Experience managing inventory, coordinating reports, and supervising logistics personnel.
• Ability to interpret and apply materiel management guidelines and ensure compliance with safety policies.
