Maintenance Manager

About the role

Qaiwan Steel Factory is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across its steel manufacturing plant in Kalar. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, and civil maintenance teams.
• Ensure reliability and efficiency of production equipment such as CCM, rolling mill, cranes, compressors, pumps, and utilities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in heavy industry or steel manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial or supervisory maintenance role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
