Maintenance Manager – 1 Year Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager on a one‑year fixed‑term contract to join our OMC team in Iraq. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will lead the maintenance function, ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of current maintenance operations, equipment, processes, and personnel.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Recommend and introduce best practices, SOPs, and maintenance management systems.
• Provide leadership, training, and development for the maintenance team.
• Assist in preparing and managing the maintenance budget.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and promote a safety culture.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure maintenance effectiveness.
• Oversee maintenance projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
