About the role
Pasta Pot Restaurant is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join its on‑site kitchen team in Erbil. This full‑time position focuses on preparing authentic pasta dishes and other menu items while upholding the restaurant’s high standards for quality and freshness.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pasta dishes and other menu items according to established recipes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout the shift.
- Handle, store, and label ingredients properly to ensure freshness and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or waste.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Required profile
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and general kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail in recipe execution and presentation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Prior experience with Italian cuisine or pasta preparation is a plus.
- Culinary arts degree or certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
