KG1 Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a KG1 Teacher for a new British international school opening in Fallujah. The role focuses on early childhood development, creating a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment for children at the start of their educational journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons aligned with Early Years standards.
• Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• Work closely with parents to extend learning beyond the classroom.
• Maintain strong safeguarding and child‑protection practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Years Education or a related field.
• QTS, EYTS, or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in KG/EYFS settings.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to adapt to new cultural and educational settings.
