IT Operations Officer – Manage Infrastructure & Support

About the role

The IT Operations Officer will oversee the company’s IT infrastructure and provide day‑to‑day technical support across office and project sites. The role ensures reliable, secure and efficient IT services, supporting employees and maintaining business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain servers, networks, internet connectivity and structured cabling.
• Manage Microsoft 365 environment (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Administer Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID) and Microsoft Intune for user access and endpoint management.
• Maintain firewalls, VPN connectivity and network security configurations.
• Oversee Wi‑Fi networks, switches, access points and overall network performance at offices and project sites.
• Manage backup systems, NAS storage and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV and access control systems.
• Provide first‑line and second‑line IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, email and connectivity issues.
• Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals for staff.
• Maintain helpdesk ticketing processes and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Assist users with remote access, VPN and Microsoft Office collaboration tools.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards and access control procedures.
• Monitor endpoint protection, security alerts and support audits.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, system documentation and configuration records.
