IT Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead critical infrastructure operations for a major organisation in Umm Qasr, Basra Province. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and operates on a 60‑day on / 14‑day off rotation, offering high autonomy and direct impact on business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the entire IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems.
• Manage vendor relationships, evaluate solutions and oversee procurement.
• Deliver IT projects across multiple technologies, ensuring timely implementation.
• Provide systems administration and database support to keep services running smoothly.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the overall IT strategy and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management.
• Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects in challenging environments.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
