Graphic Designer (Part-Time, On-Site)

About the role

Barakat Qurtas, a creative company focused on visual communication and design solutions for brands, is looking for a part-time, on-site Graphic Designer in Erbil. The designer creates and refines visual assets such as logos, brand elements, social media graphics and marketing materials that match client and company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and prepare layouts
• Select typography and colour schemes and ensure consistency with brand guidelines
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs, iterate on feedback and prepare final files for print and digital use
• Manage multiple projects, meet agreed deadlines and maintain high standards of quality and creativity

Required profile

• Strong graphic design skills, able to turn concepts into clear visual solutions
• Experience in logo design and branding
• Working knowledge of industry-standard design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Portfolio showing work across print and digital formats, including logos, brand materials and marketing assets
• Ability to work on-site in Erbil, communicate clearly and respond constructively to feedback
• Good time management and organisation, able to handle part-time workloads
• Relevant education or training in graphic design or visual communication is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued
