About the role
FastPay is seeking a Fraud Officer to monitor and investigate suspicious transactions, ensuring the security of digital payments for millions of users.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor transactions to identify suspicious or high‑risk activity.
- Investigate fraud cases and analyze transaction patterns.
- Collect and document evidence to support investigations.
- Prepare clear investigation reports and recommend actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to reduce fraud risks.
- Improve fraud prevention controls and support staff awareness.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management, financial operations, or electronic payments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with fraud monitoring tools.
