Finance Manager – Manufacturing Facility

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Finance Manager to lead all financial operations of our manufacturing plant in Babylon, Iraq. The role combines day‑to‑day finance management with strategic planning, supporting senior leadership in growth and risk‑mitigation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, treasury and fixed assets.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, working capital and company expenditures.
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections; analyse variances and cost control.
• Support executive management with financial modelling, feasibility studies and investment evaluations.
• Lead SAP S/4HANA finance operations, ensuring integration with costing, procurement, inventory, sales and production modules.
• Drive SAP implementation, upgrades, automation and user training.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, VAT and internal control standards; coordinate internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in cost accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and cash‑flow management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership on strategic financial planning.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local tax legislation.
