Facility Management Head

About the role

Halliburton is looking for a Facility Management Head to manage and direct real estate service activities for a specific geographical area, which could include one or more districts or countries. The role covers operations and maintenance of facilities, acquisition and disposition of properties, and design and construction of support facilities such as shops, warehouses and plants. It is based in Basra, Iraq, within the Oil Operations ST, and is a full-time experienced hire.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and direct real estate service activities for a defined geographical area, including operations and maintenance of facilities.
• Handle acquisition and disposition of facilities and property to support business unit needs.
• Oversee design and construction of support facilities such as shops, warehouses and plants.
• Prepare and manage district/country-specific operating and capital expenditure business plans.
• Lead a team of professional, technical, craft and contract employees.
• Hold budgetary accountability for the function.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in corporate real estate management, facilities/property management or similar shared services functions.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary activities and coordinating external service providers.
• Ability to develop and manage operating and capital budgets (finance acumen).
• Leadership and supervision experience, acting as a focal point for internal stakeholders.
