About the role
Join PwC’s Assurance practice in Iraq as an External Audit Associate. You will work within a collaborative team to deliver high‑quality audits and statutory reporting for a diverse client base, supporting the firm’s commitment to transparency and stakeholder confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Execute external audits and statutory reporting for various clients.
- Research and understand client‑specific industry information before engagements.
- Analyse engagement economics, compare actuals to budgets and explain variances.
- Collaborate with senior team members to apply audit strategies, assess risks, evaluate internal controls, and draft audit reports.
- Document internal control environments and identify potential risk areas.
- Stay informed on local and national business and economic developments.
- Ensure compliance with risk, quality and independence standards.
- Develop internal and external relationships while embodying PwC values.
- Participate in digital initiatives and upskilling activities aligned with team needs.
