E‑PTW Administrator – Electronic Permit to Work System

About the role

The Electronic Permit to Work (ePTW) Administrator will ensure the smooth operation of KBR’s ePTW system across existing sites and support its rollout to new locations, including the Majnoon Oilfield. The role combines system administration, user support, and HSE compliance to enable safe and efficient work permitting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the ePTW platform and associated databases.
• Create, modify, deactivate, and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
• Configure workflows, templates, and system settings in line with company procedures.
• Monitor system performance, coordinate troubleshooting with IT/vendors, and manage upgrades.
• Support the transition from paper‑based to electronic PTW in new areas.
• Assist permit issuers, receivers, and approvers in using the system correctly.
• Monitor live permits, resolve workflow conflicts, and ensure timely processing.
• Maintain audit trails, records, and backup compliance.
• Participate in HSE audits, inspections, and incident investigations related to permit control.
• Deliver user training, develop guides, and provide technical coaching.

Required profile

• Experience with electronic permit‑to‑work or similar safety management systems.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with IT, operations, and field personnel.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
