English‑Speaking Chinese Nurse – Baghdad

About the role

We are seeking an English‑speaking Chinese‑trained nurse to join our clinic in Baghdad. The role supports daily medical operations, ensures high‑quality patient care, and contributes to occupational health programs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with clinical assessments, prepare patients for consultations and monitor vital signs.
• Support emergency response and provide basic and advanced life‑support care.
• Maintain readiness of medical devices, equipment, consumables and medications.
• Perform occupational health duties such as medical records review, fit‑to‑work assessments, vaccination programs and health screenings.
• Implement infection prevention and control measures and participate in hygiene inspections.

Required profile

• Current nursing license from the country of origin and valid Chinese nursing registration.
• At least five (5) years of relevant nursing experience.
• Degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Experience in emergency nursing, primary health care, occupational health or family medicine is desirable.
• Experience in remote, industrial or hostile environments is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) qualification (desirable).
• International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) or Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) training (desirable).
• Training in mass‑casualty management and triage (desirable).
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
