Electrical Advisor – Senior Technical Professional

About the role

The Electrical Advisor will lead and support electrical maintenance activities across assigned plant areas, ensuring safe and efficient execution of both planned and unplanned work. This senior technical professional will coach local teams, drive continuous improvement, and uphold high standards of work management and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive (PM) and corrective (CM) electrical maintenance.
• Coordinate efficient execution of maintenance tasks and oversee contractor performance.
• Coach and mentor National I&C supervision and technicians on electrical maintenance and HSE practices.
• Maintain zero tolerance for overdue maintenance and manage risk through deferral and risk assessments.
• Update daily O&M trackers, generate reports, and support the ROO choke model for electrical vulnerabilities.
• Drive plant and equipment availability, support reliability initiatives, and close RCFA actions.
• Perform electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and timely rectification of equipment issues.
• Provide input for 12‑week maintenance schedules and identify nesting opportunities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in electrical maintenance within industrial or production environments.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Accountability for asset reliability and risk reduction.
