Deputy Finance Manager (MIS & FPA)

About the role

The Deputy Finance Manager (MIS & FPA) will support the organisation's financial planning and analysis function by turning financial and operational data into actionable insights. This role plays a key part in strategic decision‑making through reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse financial performance of assigned companies and provide recommendations to management.
• Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, bi‑weekly and monthly management reports.
• Conduct variance analysis of revenue, gross margin, operating expenses and overall business performance.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to aid strategic and operational decisions.
• Identify business risks and opportunities and deliver data‑driven recommendations.
• Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators and highlight areas requiring attention.
• Participate in process‑improvement and business‑performance enhancement initiatives.
• Provide management with financial insights, trend analysis and profitability assessments.
• Collaborate with finance and business teams to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or CFA.
• 5–15 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Economics, Statistics or Capital Markets.
• Proficiency in Kurdish, Arabic and English.
• Strong adaptability, communication, teamwork, analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
