Chief Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to lead our accounting function. The successful candidate will oversee all accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the company’s financial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and preparation of financial statements
• Review journal entries, payment vouchers, and monitor cost of sales
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑optimization initiatives
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Supervise inventory transactions, stock counts, and fixed‑asset depreciation schedules
• Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Required skills

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks (or similar ERP systems)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
