CAFM Specialist – Facilities Management

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented CAFM Specialist to support facilities management operations for a key project in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. The role will ensure the CAFM system is accurately maintained, data integrity is upheld, and reporting delivers actionable insights for efficient asset and maintenance management.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the CAFM platform, keeping asset, maintenance, and operational data current.
• Manage work order processes from creation through escalation to closure.
• Maintain asset registers, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment records.
• Support planning and scheduling of preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance activities.
• Develop operational dashboards, reports, KPIs, and management information for stakeholders.
• Monitor data quality, system compliance, and accuracy of maintenance records.
• Coordinate with facilities teams to ensure timely work‑order updates and completions.
• Analyse maintenance trends and provide insights to improve efficiency.
• Deliver CAFM training and support to users and stakeholders.
• Assist with mobilisation, audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
• Support integration of CAFM with other operational platforms and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in CAFM administration, facilities management systems, or asset management.
• Strong understanding of facilities management operations, maintenance processes, and asset lifecycle principles.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CAFM platforms such as Planon, IBM Maximo, Archibus, FM:Systems or Concept Evolution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Data‑management expertise.
