Business Development Executive (B2B Sales) - Iraq

About the role

Adroit Information Solutions, an IT services company, is looking for an energetic, commercially driven Business Development Executive to lead its sales growth in Iraq. The role is a hunter-type position focused on acquiring new customers, closing deals and growing revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across Iraq
• Build relationships with decision-makers, business owners and enterprise clients
• Generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, market research and industry contacts
• Understand customer needs and present solutions and services
• Hold client meetings, product presentations, demonstrations and commercial discussions
• Prepare and follow up proposals, quotations and tenders
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure and meet monthly and quarterly targets
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and give regular forecasts and reports
• Coordinate with technical, project and support teams after sale closure
• Upsell and cross-sell, and monitor competitors and market trends

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, with a strong track record in B2B sales and new customer acquisition
• Proven ability to close sales, with examples of closures and achieved targets
• Valid Iraq driving licence (mandatory)
• Willingness to travel within Iraq or outside the region for customer meetings
• Good working knowledge of English; Arabic speakers strongly preferred
• Added advantage: experience selling SaaS, digital signage, POS, retail or IT solutions, or managing enterprise accounts and multi-location deployments
