Assistant Manager Finance

About the role

The Assistant Manager Finance will support the Finance Manager in overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance across the organization. This position plays a key role in reconciliations, audit preparation, and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations of company accounts, including vehicle sales, costs, and VSB vs. NL modules.
• Allocate payments, manage invoices, and maintain payment trackers.
• Prepare monthly financial templates, weekly debtor reports, and detailed model‑wise, branch‑wise, and channel‑wise analyses.
• Assist in monthly and yearly audits, prepare IFRS and tax audit schedules, and coordinate with auditors.
• Oversee payment allocations, ensure correct exchange‑gain and commission bookings.
• Identify and implement process improvements, mentor junior accountants, and enhance automation using Excel, SAP and Autoline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CA/CPA/ACCA/ICWA preferred).
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience in the automotive or trading industry is an advantage.
