About the role
BGT is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join its finance team. The role is ideal for an organized, detail‑oriented professional eager to develop an accounting career in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Ability to accurately record and maintain financial transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English, Arabic, and Kurdish (written and spoken).
Required skills
- Experience with Odoo ERP system (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
