About the role
The International Labour Organization (ILO), supported by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), seeks a professional videographer/photographer to document its MSME and access‑to‑finance activities in Basra, Iraq. The role involves capturing high‑quality visual content that illustrates project implementation, outcomes, and impact.
Key responsibilities
- Film and photograph training sessions, including SIYB and financial education workshops.
- Document MSME dialogue events, field visits, stakeholder meetings, and beneficiary interactions.
- Produce visual stories that highlight success cases of entrepreneurs and MSMEs supported by the project.
- Deliver edited video clips and photo sets suitable for communication, visibility, and impact‑storytelling purposes.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in field videography and photography, preferably in development or NGO contexts.
- Ability to work on‑site in Basra and adapt to varying lighting and environmental conditions.
- Strong eye for detail and storytelling through visual media.
Required skills
- Professional videography and photography techniques.
- Competence in video editing and photo post‑processing.
