Technical Inspector

About the role

The Technical Inspector ensures that workshops, service centres and related facilities operate in full compliance with company policies, technical standards and regulatory requirements. This role combines governance oversight, equipment maintenance monitoring and contractor coordination to safeguard asset reliability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of workshops, service centres, equipment and operational areas to verify compliance with policies, procedures and manufacturer requirements.
• Identify, document and report non‑compliances, track corrective actions and ensure closure of findings.
• Monitor condition and readiness of workshop tools, machinery and assets; verify preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain registers of equipment inspections, certifications, warranties and service histories.
• Act as the main point of contact for contractors performing maintenance, calibration and testing; coordinate schedules and verify contractual compliance.
• Prepare inspection, compliance and maintenance status reports; liaise with workshop managers, service managers, procurement and HSE personnel.
• Escalate significant safety, operational or regulatory issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven ability to conduct detailed inspections and produce clear documentation.
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance and technical standards in an industrial setting.
• Experience monitoring equipment maintenance programmes and reviewing technical records.
• Capability to coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely execution of work.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to track corrective actions to completion.
