Surgical Services Team – Surgeon, CRNA, OR RN & Technologist (Iraq)

About the role

Cherokee Federal is seeking experienced surgical professionals to join a Surgical Services Team that will support U.S. Government medical operations in Iraq (Baghdad & Erbil). The team will provide in‑person surgical, anesthesia, nursing and technical care 24 hours a day for a Diplomatic Support Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous in‑person surgical capability in a dedicated operating theater.
• Support one operating theater around the clock and manage up to two surgical patients simultaneously.
• Provide trauma and emergency care as part of an integrated team of surgeon, CRNA, OR RN and technologist.
• Stabilize patients, prepare them for transfer or evacuation when needed, and coordinate MedEVAC for cases requiring more than 96 hours of care.
• Participate in emergency and trauma response within the assigned scope of practice.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with a valid U.S. passport.
• Secret clearance preferred or ability to obtain required clearance.
• Minimum three years of experience in one of the following categories: General Surgeon, CRNA/Anesthetist, OR Registered Nurse, OR Technologist.
• Current professional licensure and certifications.
