Solar Energy Consultant – 115 MW Plant Project

About the role

We are seeking a Solar Energy Consultant to lead the design, construction and commissioning of a 115 MW solar power plant in Karbala, Iraq. The role combines technical engineering, site management and grid‑integration responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed solar energy calculations to determine the required number of panels and inverters.
• Design and oversee grid connection and integration for the plant.
• Manage land preparation activities and related civil works.
• Supervise system installation ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
• Lead initial commissioning and startup operations.
• Coordinate with local authorities and project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years proven experience in the solar energy sector.
• Direct experience with construction of large‑scale (≥100 MW) solar power plants.
• Demonstrated ability to manage site preparation, installation and commissioning phases.
• Experience working on projects in Iraq or similar environments is preferred.
