Site Security Manager – Kirkuk, Iraq (Internal Applicants Only)

About the role

The Site Security Manager (SSM) leads all static guard operations and ensures security standard operating procedures are applied across the site. This role supports daily and as‑required security needs for the company, its employees, and assets in Kirkuk, Iraq.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deploy the static guard force, ensuring readiness and proper rotation.
• Coordinate daily static guard activities and maintain constant communication with the Security Control Centre (SCCC).
• Maintain complete training and personnel records for all static guard staff.
• Respond to emergency calls, oversee security incident reporting, and participate in emergency response coordination.
• Ensure compliance with Iraqi government, client, and Control Risks directives and procedures.
• Support the APT as required and oversee site security and safety systems to identify deficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years cumulative military, police, or equivalent commercial security and risk management experience.
• At least 2 years experience working in Iraq for a MOI‑registered PSC.
• Minimum 1 year in a PSC operations management role.
• Completion of an internationally recognised military Non‑Commissioned Officer or comparable leadership course.
• Security and Risk Management qualification and knowledge of the oil and gas sector are preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of security SOPs and incident reporting procedures.
• Experience with training databases and record‑keeping.
