Service Advisor – Automotive Service

About the role

The Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, receiving service requests, documenting vehicle concerns, and coordinating repairs to ensure timely, high‑quality service delivery. This role focuses on clear communication, workflow efficiency, and customer satisfaction while adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers in the service reception area, capture their concerns, and accurately record vehicle issues and service requirements.
• Create and manage job cards, documenting customer requests, vehicle details, and required maintenance or repair services.
• Perform initial vehicle inspections, noting visible damage, mileage, and service history.
• Explain recommended repairs, service packages, cost estimates, and timelines to customers in line with dealership policies.
• Coordinate with workshop controllers, technicians, parts department, and quality control to ensure proper job execution and parts availability.
• Monitor repair progress, provide status updates to customers, obtain approvals for additional work, and verify quality before vehicle hand‑over.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in automotive service, service advisory, or a customer‑facing role.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Autoline dealership management system for tracking service activities.
• Ability to conduct vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
