Senior Medical Representative – R&I – Middle Area

About the role

As a Senior Medical Representative for AstraZeneca, you will drive product awareness and adoption within the Middle Area by engaging healthcare professionals with scientific, ethical communication. You will work closely with sales managers to meet business goals and improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales managers to develop and implement effective territory sales plans.
• Meet or exceed sales forecasts and manage assigned budgets to achieve therapeutic and territorial objectives.
• Apply AstraZeneca’s marketing and medical promotion strategies across assigned regions and products.
• Conduct regular, high‑quality medical visits to promote products and increase awareness among healthcare professionals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of interactions, activities, and doctor profiles using CRM tools (e.g., Veeva).
• Organize and manage promotional meetings (RLM, ROM) while ensuring efficient budget use.
• Deliver personalized, scientifically accurate messages aligned with physicians’ needs and prescribing behaviour.
• Monitor competitor activity and local market dynamics to inform promotional strategy.
• Coordinate with internal departments for medical information, pharmacovigilance, and marketing feedback.
• Uphold strong, ethical relationships with healthcare professionals and AstraZeneca’s professional values.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales.
• Strong scientific knowledge and ability to communicate complex information.
