Senior Finance Associate – IP Compliance

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to support the financial management of Implementing Partners (IPs). The role focuses on ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with IOM and donor regulations across IP budgets and financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing IP selection calls for proposals and represent the Resource Management Unit in selection committees.
• Maintain comprehensive archives of IP selection documentation and capacity assessment reports.
• Review IP budgets for reasonableness, accuracy, and compliance with IOM and donor rules.
• Coordinate and conduct IP capacity assessments and due‑diligence activities with program staff.
• Perform mid‑term and final spot‑checks of IP financial documents to verify proper use of funds.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in finance, budgeting, or financial compliance, preferably within an international or UN‑related environment.
• Strong understanding of donor regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with program teams, partners, and senior management.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
