Sales Specialist

About the role

FDC International FZCO is seeking a full‑time Sales Specialist to join its Baghdad office. You will manage and grow a portfolio of customers, promote a wide range of IT products and solutions, and work to achieve sales targets through proactive prospecting, presentations, and follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and prepare accurate quotations.
• Negotiate terms, close deals, and ensure compliance with company margins and policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and provide product guidance and training when required.
• Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee accurate order processing and timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Support marketing initiatives and vendor programs to drive revenue growth.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales experience in IT or related industries, including prospecting, lead conversion, and account management.
• Experience in training partners or junior team members and supporting sales performance.
• Knowledge of IT hardware and software products, especially notebooks, components, networking, and security solutions.
• Ability to work on‑site in Baghdad and travel locally as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English and local languages, with a commitment to ethical, non‑discriminatory business practices.

Required skills

• IT hardware and software products (notebooks, components, networking, security solutions).
• Familiarity with CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
