Sales Manager – Industrial Automation & Engineering Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead growth in the industrial automation and engineering sector across Iraq. The role combines technical sales expertise with business development to secure new projects and expand existing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
• Identify, qualify and generate new business opportunities in industrial automation.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and provide regular forecasts and reports.
• Lead, motivate and mentor the sales team to achieve objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8‑12 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial automation or related engineering sectors.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
• Ability to travel within Iraq as required.
