Sales Manager – Central & South Iraq

About the role

The Sales Manager at Air Arabia will lead the airline’s commercial efforts across Central and South Iraq, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role combines strategic planning with hands‑on team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
• Lead, train and motivate the sales team to meet individual and collective goals.
• Identify new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, GSAs and other sales channels.
• Monitor sales performance, KPIs and provide regular analysis to management.
• Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute sales campaigns and promotions.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and customer preferences.
• Represent Air Arabia at industry events, trade shows and conferences.
• Work with the Commercial Manager to optimise fare structures and pricing.
• Negotiate contracts with partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and aviation regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Management, Commerce, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales within the aviation or travel industry.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supervising or managing a sales team.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the airline sector.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of airline market dynamics and sales strategies.
