Sales Executive – Food Partnerships (Basra)

About the role

We’re looking for a Sales Executive (Food) to join our Commercial team in Basra. This role is ideal for a sales‑driven, proactive professional who enjoys building long‑term relationships with restaurant partners. You will focus on acquiring, onboarding and growing food partners on the Baly platform while ensuring their ongoing success.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and onboard top restaurant partners to the Baly platform.
• Identify and engage restaurant owners and key decision‑makers.
• Generate leads and conduct meetings (in‑person or virtual) with prospective partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant partners.
• Persuade partners to participate in campaigns and promotions to maximize sales.
• Monitor restaurant performance, analyze results, and provide actionable insights.
• Proactively identify challenges and provide solutions to improve partner performance.
• Ensure high responsiveness and continuous support to partner needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Growth, Marketing, Operations, and Support) to drive business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Sales‑driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of Basra’s food and restaurant market.
• Previous experience in sales, account management, or business development is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Fluent in Arabic; English proficiency is preferred.
