Online Kurdish Language Teacher (Freelance)

About the role
We are seeking a native or near‑native Kurdish (Kurmanji) speaker to deliver customized, online lessons to an adult beginner. The student alternates between Kirkuk, Iraq and Texas, USA, and needs practical, everyday conversation practice.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1‑2 one‑hour lessons per week, scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays at 6 pm (Iraq time) or as agreed.
- Design lesson plans focused on simple dialogues, useful expressions, and cultural insights.
- Monitor progress and adapt materials to meet the learner’s goals.
- Maintain professional, clear communication with the student.
Required profile
- Native or near‑native proficiency in Kurdish (Kurmanji) – both written and spoken.
- Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, linguistics, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience teaching Kurdish.
Required skills
- Online teaching and virtual classroom facilitation.
