Marketing & Sales Specialist – Business Development

About the role

UR International Insurance Co. is looking for a dynamic, results‑driven Marketing & Sales professional to join its Business Development Unit. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the client base, strengthening relationships with corporate and individual customers, and promoting the company’s insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Promote insurance products and services to corporate and retail customers.
• Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and client reports.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
• Represent the company at business meetings, networking events, and exhibitions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, business development, or the insurance industry (preferred).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and customer‑focused mindset.
• Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, and English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
