Legal Director – Corporate & Litigation Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Director to lead our legal function. The role will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, overseeing all corporate, regulatory and litigation matters across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to senior leadership and internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal, regulatory and commercial issues.
• Act as a strategic business partner, contributing to organizational objectives beyond functional legal responsibilities.
• Promote a strong culture of ethics, integrity and compliance throughout the company.
• Lead corporate governance activities, including board meetings, shareholder matters, statutory filings and disclosures.
• Manage relationships with government authorities, regulators, external counsel, consultants and shareholders.
• Oversee all litigation matters, including civil, labor, tax, regulatory, commercial, consumer and contractual disputes.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Collaborate with regional and international legal teams on corporate, commercial, IP, trademark and compliance issues.
• Develop legal team capabilities, succession planning and departmental effectiveness.
• Draft, review, negotiate and standardise contracts, corporate documents and other legal instruments.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognized university; advanced legal qualifications are a plus.
• Significant experience as an in‑house counsel within multinational or international organisations.
• Proven track record in corporate, commercial and litigation matters.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and risk management.
