Instrument Technician (Maysan, Iraq)

About the role

AntonAnton Oilfield Services Group is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join its On‑sync Energy Management Services team in Maysan, Iraq. The role involves ensuring the reliability and performance of field instrumentation across oil‑field and industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of field instruments.
• Install, calibrate and commission instrumentation systems and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate records, configuration data and operational procedures for all instrumentation.
• Support safe working practices and ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher; vocational/technical training in Mechatronics, Instrumentation Automation, Electrical Automation or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in instrument installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in chemical, petrochemical, power or manufacturing plants is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as Electrician License, Instrumentation Technician License or Special Equipment Operation Certificate are desirable.
