Indirect Sales Account Executive – Basra

About the role

Zain Iraq is seeking an Indirect Sales Account Executive to manage and grow its distributor network in Basra. The role focuses on monitoring point‑of‑sale performance, ensuring product distribution efficiency, and achieving sales targets while gathering market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and execute Zain’s indirect sales strategy and policies.
• Visit assigned points of sale regularly to collect market intelligence and monitor competitor activities.
• Gather consumer feedback on Zain products, log complaints, and follow up on resolutions.
• Prepare and communicate daily reports on contract rejections, documentation discrepancies, SIM irregularities, and activation status to distributors.
• Escalate network issues, support distributors in resolving them, and contribute to business planning.
• Monitor promotional campaigns, MBB availability, and new site activations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of experience in sales, distribution management, or a related commercial role.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, achievement‑driven mindset, teamwork, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Effective oral and written communication, initiative, and ability to work with technology applications.
