Housekeeping Supervisor – Hotel (Baghdad)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team at a prestigious hotel in Baghdad. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction across all hotel areas.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
• Establish and enforce housekeeping standards, procedures, and quality‑control measures.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and monitor departmental budgets.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews and address issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and coordinate with other departments.
• Prepare detailed reports on operations, staffing, and budget utilization.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in housekeeping operations or facility management.
• Proven supervisory or team‑leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards and cleaning protocols.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scheduling software.
• Basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
