Head of Commercial

About the role

Our client, a well‑established business group operating across Iraq, is seeking a Head of Commercial to lead the commercial performance of its heavy‑equipment division. This senior role offers full autonomy to shape strategy, build high‑performing teams and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall commercial results, delivering revenue growth, profitability and market expansion.
• Develop and execute business strategy, turning commercial objectives into operational plans for Sales, Parts, Service and Commercial Operations.
• Lead, mentor and align department heads, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Drive business planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance reviews with solid financial insight.
• Expand relationships with major contractors, government entities, industrial customers and strategic accounts across Iraq.
• Lead high‑value negotiations and key customer engagements.
• Ensure seamless collaboration across Sales, Parts, Service, Supply Chain and Operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Identify new market opportunities, product expansions and strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Proven senior commercial leadership experience, preferably in heavy‑equipment or industrial sectors.
• Track record of building and leading high‑performing teams.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen to support commercial decisions.
